To be honest, the shock barely catches any dirt, Because there is a plate parallel with the wheel splash line, it keeps it out of the way, i guess if your real ponsey you could always buy a shock sleeve, or link some old inner tube from seatpost to the rocker. But like i said, if your real ponsey. It really gets no more than any other bike i've had before

No worries at all bro!! Better off sortin it than findin out later! Make sure you put silly amounts of grease on the freehub body before you put the cassette on, n go easy on the tension on the chain as best you can till you get a steel one mate! Rims lookin sick too bud!!

Ayye i had an XTR on it bud n failed to get it off. Theyre no different, its the tougher metal gnawing into the softer stuff, save your money n get a steel freehub cos tbh, after you buy a new cassette you'll need a new chain too (chain and cassette wear in together) so your lookin at £30+ any how. But hey its all just a word of warning, its up to you. You do a bit of XC all mountain stuff on your bike dont you so like that'll put added stress onto the freehub making it gnaw more, i only use mine for DH n pedalling that n i managed to rip it in. Fail on hopes part imo!!!

Its not the cassette thats the problem bud, its the freehub (the bit you put the cassette on) because cassettes are steel and hope have made the freehub alloy so obviously the cassette gnaws into the freehub.

Careful with your freehub bud. If its alloy then your cassette will gnaw into it and it'll be ni-on impossible to get your cassette off! Better with a steal freehub

Looks sweet man. With the steerer, take all the spacers out from above the crown, put the stem on and then put the spacers back on n clamp it like that. Will give you better control and feeling but means you dont have to cut the steerer!

it wouldnt have worked because at the end of the day the bar was bent back into shape, then the reinforcement wasn't the correct type, it should have just have a shim or something wrapped around the problem area in order to strengthen the weakened area. Bring it to me next time bro Razz
